WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Towson University women's golf team moved up one spot from yesterday's finish, wrapping up day two of play at the UNCG Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in 10
th place.
The Tigers shot a combined 315 for the second 18 holes of play, leaving them with a final score of 624 (+48) throughout two rounds. The Black & Gold trail by only four strokes behind Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foe William & Mary.
Jacksonville State took over the lead from Morehead State University after day two with a second-round score of 297. The team sits in first place with 592 (+16).
Madison Barber completed the day tied for 26
th after shooting 78, recording two birdies.
Isabella Portokalis shot 81, notching back-to-back birdies on holes 4 and 5. The senior sits tied for 29
th.
Peyton Costabile dropped eight strokes from her day one performance, shooting 75. Costabile recorded two birdies and fired an eagle on No. 17. She moved up 23 spots to conclude the day tied for 44
th.
Grace Oristian shot 82 while
Faith McIlvain shot 81.
The final day of play takes place tomorrow morning.
