Last Time Out
Towson fell to Navy, 5-2, in their final match at the Coppermine Racquet and Fitness Club in Pikesville, Maryland.
Despite the outcome, the Tigers are only the second team to earn more than one point against the Midshipmen so far this season. In all 12 of the Mids' victories this spring, they have either won 7-0 or 6-1.
After dropping the doubles point, Sarah Pospischill (No. 4) and Elessa Jacobs (No. 6) came out with wins to give the Black & Gold their two points. Both battled through tiebreaks to come out with straight set wins.
It wasn't enough though as the Mids powered through to win matches on courts No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 to secure the victory.
