An honorable mention All-American and the sixth-leading scorer in Towson men's basketball history, Marvin "Kurk" Lee '90 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 2000.

Lee scored 1541 points in two seasons as a Tiger. He earned East Coast Conference (ECC) Player of the Year honors, was named first team All-ECC and led the league in scoring and steals both seasons. Lee earned nine ECC Player of the Week honors in his career, averaging 25.4 ppg as a junior and 26.0 ppg as a senior.

He was a key member of Towson's 1990 ECC title and the first Tiger men's basketball team to reach the NCAA Tournament. Towson drew Oklahoma, and Lee led the Tigers with 30 points in the contest.

Lee's 25.7 ppg career scoring average and set single-season school records for total points (805) and scoring average (26.0) in 1990.

He played one season in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets before playing overseas for a number of years.
