A three-year starter who saw action as an infielder, outfielder and designated hitter, Jimmy Kittelberger was a two time first team America East all-league selection.

In 2000 he was named All-America East as a designated hitter and 2001 as an outfielder. In his senior year he was also chosen to the America East all-tournament team.

Jimmy helped the Tigers to three consecutive 30-win seasons and a 101-65-1 record over that span to mark the best three-year record in program history. He also helped Towson post a 56-27 three-year record in America East that included a regular season title in 1999 and tournament runner up finishes in 1999 and 2001.

Jimmy closed out his college career with a .345 batting average, ninth on the Tigers' all-time list. He set a Towson single season record with 22 doubles in 2001 while batting .364 with a team-leading 63 runs scored.  He hit eight home runs and had 40 runs batted in that season too. He hit .352 as a junior. He still ranks among Towson's career leaders with 41 doubles. His single season doubles record of 22 is still a program high.

In 2002 Jimmy played for the Lincoln (Neb.) Saltdogs in the Northern League.
