Hall of Fame
All All-Mason-Dixon conference goaltender for the Towson soccer team, Reece Livingston '56 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1975.
A key member of the 1956 soccer team, he helped the Tigers (then the Golden Knights) to a 7-1-2 overall record and a 5-0-2 Mason-Dixon conference mark. He was part of a team that dealt the University of Virginia two straight losses in 1954 and 1955. Livingston made 13 saves against UVa in 1955 to preserve a 1-0 win and pout the team in position to win the conference championship.
He also contributed to the success of the Towson basketball team in '56. Livingston scored 58 points - over half of the team's points - in a 101-77 victory over Gallaudet. The program finished 5-11 that season, with close losses to Drew, Washington College and Johns Hopkins.
