Hall of Fame
A terrific three-sport athlete, Dick Clem '58 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1975.
A key member of the 1956 soccer team, he helped the Tigers (then the Golden Knights) to a 7-1-2 overall record and a 5-0-2 Mason-Dixon conference mark. He was part of a team that dealt the University of Virginia two straight losses in 1954 and 1955.
His win over Bernie Gordon in the 1956 wrestling tournament finals - Gordon's first loss in three years - helped the Tigers to an undefeated season. He placed second in the 147 lb weight class in the Mason-Dixon Tournament that season.
