Hall of Fame
A two-time All-American selection in lacrosse, Tim Mahoney '63 played a vital role in the Tiger Lacrosse program. He was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1985.
A three-time letter winner for the Tigers, he also played one year of basketball for Towson and served as an assistant lacrosse coach from 1972-81. The team MVP from 1969-71, he also earned All-Mason-Dixon notice in lacrosse three times and was named to the 1971 North-South game.
As a senior, he established a then-school record with a state-leading 57 points. He also set then-school records for assists in a season (62) and in a game (7). An Annapolis High School graduate, he was active with the United Way and Santa Claus Anonymous. He served on the Tiger Club Board of Directors from 1975-80 and owned a restaurant in Rehobeth Beach, Del.
