Hall of Fame
A four-year performer on the Tiger attack, Jules Siskind '79 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1996.
Siskind is one of the leading scorers in Towson lacrosse history. During his career, he totaled 55 goals and 101 assists for 156 points. He is the sixth-leading scorer in the history of the program and his 101 career assists are the third-highest total in school history.
As a freshman, the Fairlawn, N.J., native saw limited duty. But he came into his own as a sophomore. He was the Tigers’ third-leading scorer with 13 goals and 29 assists while helping the team post an 8-8 record. In a win over Mount St. Mary’s, he set a then-school record for points with 12, scoring six goals with six assists.
In his junior season, Siskind was the team’s second-leading scorer with 10 goals and 31 assists. He tied the school record with seven assists in one game against Loyola College, helping the Tigers post an 8-7 record that included an appearance in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.
As a senior, he was named third team All-America while leading the Tigers to a 10-6 record and the number one seed in the NCAA College Division Tournament. Siskind led Towson in scoring with 73 points, scoring 32 goals with 41 assists. He played in the North-South game at the end of the season.
After graduation, Siskind went into a career in sales and had three children with the former Susan Hiett, also a Towson graduate. His son, Max, played for the Tiger lacrosse team.
