Hall of Fame
A two-sport standout during his time at Towson, Ron Cadorette '71 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1989.
Cadorette was a three-year starter at tight end and caught 55 passes for 807 yards and 11 touchdowns for his career. He was the team’s top receiver in 1969, with 44 catches for 712 yards and a then-school record 10 TDs. He earned All-Mason-Dixon Conference honors for football.
He was also a three-year performer for the men’s lacrosse team at midfield. He was a first team Little All-American in 1971 and a second team selection in 1970. Cadorette also earned all-conference honors and played in the 1971 North-South game.
After graduation, he served as an assistant coach with the Towson football team from 1972-74 and coached lacrosse at Calvert Hall College High School. He volunteered with the Special Olympics and Little League baseball in Florida and went on to earn two master’s degrees from Morgan State and the University of Miami.
