Hall of Fame
A gifted three-sport athlete, Craig Laferty '66 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1983.
A two-year performer in soccer for the Tigers, he was a four-year letter winner in baseball as well. Laferty was named first team All-South in soccer in 1965 and was also an All-Mason-Dixon Conference selection.
A two-year captain of the baseball team, he was the team’s Player of the Year in 1965 and 1966 as well as earning the soccer team Player of the Year honors twice. He was selected as Towson’s Athlete of the Year in 1965.
A mathematics teacher in the Baltimore County school system, he was also the mathematics department chair at Towson Senior High School and a part-time instructor at Towson.
