An outstanding two-sport athlete for Towson, Bill Maczis '56 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1980.

He contributed to the success of the Towson basketball team in '56. The program finished 5-11 that season, with close losses to Drew, Washington College and Johns Hopkins.
