A three-time All-American lacrosse player at Towson, Mitch Lekas '76 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1998.

He was a four-year performer for the Tigers. A native of Lutherville, Md., who graduated from Calvert Hall High School, he was a first team All-American midfielder in his senior year.

A key performer for the Tigers’ 1974 USILA national championship team, he had 15 goals and 12 assists in his senior season. In 1974, he was a second team All-America selection who had 17 goals and four assists. In his career, he also earned All-Mason-Dixon Conference honors. As a senior, he was selected to play in the North-South All-Star game. During his four years as a Tiger, he helped Towson post a 39-22 record, including a 17-1 mark in the championship season of 1974.

A resident of Cockeysville, Md., he is vice president and owner of B & L Sales, Inc. He has also been very active in the Cockeysville Lacrosse Program. He and his wife have two children.
