US Lacrosse Hall of Fame member Bob Griebe '75 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 1986.

The all-time leading point scorer in Towson's men's lacrosse history, Griebe was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1990, his first year of eligibility. An attackman on the Tigers' 1974 College Division National Championship team, he played for Team USA in the World Championships in 1978 and served as a co-captain for the team in the 1982 World Games. He was also selected as an alternate for the 1986 World Championships.

A two-time All-America pick at Towson, Griebe was the Tigers' leading scorer in 1974 and 1975. He finished his college career with 221 points, scoring 96 goals with 125 assists.

Honored as Towson's Most Valuable Player and Senior Athlete of the Year in 1975, he was the Division II/III Attackman of the Year in 1975 and represented Towson in that year's North-South Collegiate All-Star Game.

He was named to the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1991.

Both of his children played lacrosse for Towson. His son, Bobby, played from 2004-07 and ranks among the school's all-time leaders with 89 goals and 133 points. His daughter, Kelly, played on the Tiger women's lacrosse team from 2002-04.
